One of our favourite days out and a classic meet for the CUDH. This meet never disappoints! A meaty day with a line of some of the biggest hedges the Drag can be seen over, but with some lovely long canters on old turf. After having to postpone the planned meet in October we are excited to return to Grafton Park Farm. Our fence builders have been hard at work to make sure this is a day for all to enjoy, with a fantastic selection of jumps to choose between. Hound Exercise - Normans Farm, Wardy Hill, Cambridgeshire

1.5 hours of walking, trotting and cantering if ground conditions allow.

We will have a two course fork lunch, plus tea and coffee, available after the hound exercise for both riders and non-riders at £15 per head. Our final Hunt Ride of the 2024 summer is an 8 - 10 mile guided ride across the glorious Northamptonshire countryside, with light refreshments afterwards.
A great opportunity for socialising both horses and rides before the start of the season.

Our meet at Bulwick Hall is kindly hosted by the Conant Family. A lovely traditional meet, with a selection of hunt rails and hedges (1m), but non-jumpers very welcome too. This great galloping meet on old grass allows the field to spread out and view the hounds working, taking you back to when the horse was king.

We are grateful to the McKim family for kindly hosting us at Thorpeley Irish Draught and Rare Breed Stud, and as we get into the swing of the season this meet promises to be a cracker. Not one for the faint hearted, this meet takes us across the cream of high Leicestershire with enough rails and hedges to satisfy even the most die hard hedge hopper! To enjoy this meet you really need to be comfortable jumping hunt rails.
Hound Exercise at Bright Pitts Farm, Peterborough
Owing to the recent wet weather, a hunt is not possible this week. We are grateful to the Grange Family for hosting us for a hound exercise instead. 8-10 miles of walk, trot and canter, to help keep all our fitness ticking over! We hope to see lots of you there. Once again we are delighted to be invited to return to Spring Hall Farm, for our final hound exercise of the season. This will be a fairly brisk pace ready for opening meet the following week. How about a meet with endless grass and hedges? Well here you go, we are delighted to extend the Buckle Family’s little bit of Christmas cheer to you all.
This meet is ideal for those of you who want to really experience the thrills of draghunting, dependent upon the numbers we will run two fields, Jump for joy (the big stuff) and the sane people (typically 90cm to 1m).
